Cataloochee Ski Resort - Maggie Valley, NC
The Southern Snow Seekers Ski Club (SSS) is committed to introducing our kids to the wonderful world of winter sports. On January 28, 2012, SSS will host 100 youth from Metropolitan Atlanta for a one-day ski/ride trip to one of the club's favorite places, Cataloochee Ski Resort (Maggie Valley, NC).

The cost for the trip is approximately $100 per child. This amount includes round-trip bus transportation, meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), equipment rentals and a souvenir (TBD, e.g. photo & t-shirt).

To make sure our kids have the experience of a lifetime, we are asking for your help with this important community effort.

SSS Club Members and Friends are asked to consider donations of $50 to help defray expenses. Donations of other amounts will also be gladly appreciated. Business owners may also donate appropriate products/gift items.

The National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS) and Southern Snow Seekers (SSS) are going to Sun Valley "American Shangri-La," the nation's first destination ski resort. We have not been there since 1998, so we are going back! Come enjoy Sun Valley's famous slopes with a couple thousand of your closest friends. There is something for everyone. The terrain accommodates the experienced skiers/boarders as well as beginners. Sun Valley is also famous for having the first known skier chair lift. The resort offers two mountains "Bald Mountain offers lots of challenges for the experienced skiers/boarders and Dollar Mountain's sunny wide-open terrains make beginners feel at ease. Get ready for skiing, boarding, hot springs, snowmobiling, shopping, and more.
